Young Distractions
The views of an average young women have changed greatly over the course of our existence. As each year passes it seems as though girls are finding new appealing and attractive outfits, but are the school systems adapting to them as well? The answer is obvious. The dress codes that are enforced at public schools seem to view young women as distractions and do the uttermost to prevent them from disrupting another child's education. School administration's across the nation put the guys on a pedestal when it comes to protecting their education. Although the decision about what clothes a girl is allowed to wear should not come from her school system, but her parents and what they find to be an acceptable school outfit. This is no longer a time where women should fully clothe themselves from head to toe, as of 2014 the freedom to where whatever you please should be embedded in the American culture. By sending a young girl to change her "distracting" clothes you have now proven that a young men's education is top priority. But shouldn't the real issue be resolved on behalf of these young men? The shocking truth is that any given male student who's education seems to be disrupted by what another child is wearing, is the one who really has a problem. Teaching adolescents to hide themselves to protect another child is cruel and misleading. It is truly sad that girls now a days are limited in expressing themselves in the way they wish in order. And for what? To ensure that boys who are perfectly capable of self-control get the education that they need. Although there might be some clothing that should definitely be avoided, but for the rules to be as harsh as they are is quite upsetting. Girls should not be blamed for a boys inability to focus in a classroom. This extends far greater than education, it is also allowing girls to be ashamed of their bodies. By now you would assume that girls have the same freedom and rights to be able to express themselves in any way possible, however when you deprive them of this freedom you are taking away a little part of themselves. School systems are stripping away their education and you would think that education would be their top priority.
